TASTING NOTES
Hazy pale gold; foamy white head with good retention. Primarily orange marmalade and ripe mango aromas with a faint floral character. Medium-bodied with style-appropriate carbonation level. The flavor profile mirrors the aroma but this time with some oat-like character; soft bready malt character. Moderate bitterness and very low-to-no sweetness. Lingering piney bitterness brings this beer to a close.
THE VERDICT
Very good. The New Zealand variant of the collaboration beer is a flavorful, hop-forward, and “dry” hazy IPA that brings together primarily citrus and stonefruit aromas and flavors. The next versions could have more intense aromas.
