TASTING NOTES

Hazy pale gold beer with a creamy white head. The aroma explodes with ripe tangerines and juicy mangoes. Style-appropriate body and carbonation; soft and silky mouthfeel. The tangerine-mango duality we met in the aroma returns in the flavor and melds further with ripe cantaloupes and papaya. Lemon zest gives this beer a light citrus jolt. Supportive bready malt character; very low bitterness. Sweetness manifests as ripe tropical fruits. Blurry and Green leaves the palate dry and sticky; orange peel and subtle green tea.

THE VERDICT

Knotted Root once again nailed a smooth and very juicy New England IPA that is spot-on with the ripe fruity characters and mouthfeel. Outstanding.
